Collaborative research

We believe that different organizations, scientists and people in general should work together to achieve magnificent results. Always when possible, we collaborate with other organizations working in a similar field.
At the present we are helping the Megafauna Association on identify the habitat and resources used by sea turtles through photo identification.
In additional we also collaborate with the Associacao para Investigacao Costeira e Marinha (AICM) to monitor sea turtle nesting (from October to March) in Zavora Beach.

Reef Monitoring

ACCM Zavora Marine Lab. is the major AMAR (the Mozambican Diver Association) partner on the project to create a reef monitoring program in Inhambane Province. ACCM is providing technical capacity and helping AMAR to capacity a group of local divers to evaluate the health of the reefs and take conservation actions when needed.
